Luminate Coffee began with founder Danica making coffee as a way to serve the people around her.

As customers kept coming back, she saw how coffee could offer something beyond the drink itself:

a way to brighten someone’s day, connect with people, and turn her passion into something purposeful.

This shaped Luminate into a specialty coffee brand grounded in both craft and service, supported by Danica’s continued development through hands-on barista work, recipe development, industry participation, and relationships within the local coffee community.

Its mobile pop-up model became a natural extension of that purpose, allowing Luminate to reach different communities, collaborate across the coffee ecosystem, and continuously refine its products and customer experience with lower operating requirements than a permanent café.

As the business grows, Luminate aims to create opportunities not only for itself, but also for local roasters, baristas, event communities, collaborators, and future partners to grow through what they do best.

Meet Danica

Luminate Coffee was built by Danica, who has always been the kind of person who wants to be there for other people.

One day, she found coffee. What started as a simple curiosity during her college years turned into a craft she fell head over heels for, taking her from countless cups and experiments to competitions around the world. As she grew deeper into the craft, she discovered that coffee could make people feel cared for and turn something as simple as a cup into a meaningful moment.

Today, that’s what keeps Danica pouring her heart into every cup, knowing that something she loves can brighten someone else’s day.

We believe that a small and timely message can be the catalyst for change.

Our Mission

Beyond coffee, Luminate hopes to be a beacon of hope: a safe space where dreams aren't put out, but are fanned into flame. Through meaningful interactions and sharing our own journey’s highs and lows, we hope to remind others that pursuing what matters is always worth it, even when it is difficult.

Passion is not only found in the moments when things go right. It is built by continuing to show up, choosing what matters, and keeping the flame alive.

Though a cup of coffee might not change the world, one good cup paired with a warm conversation can be enough to turn a small spark into something bigger.

Luminate Coffee is a coffee cart and catering service that serves specialty coffee and pastries at pop-ups and events that aim to bring people together. 

We offer consultation services for all our bookings, including a drinks tasting, bespoke events packages, and a specialty coffee cupping session–just because we want to share our passion with you.
